If you run a directional AM, how long has it been since you had your antenna system proofed? The FCC is stepping up enforcement related to AM DA's and it's a good idea to have yours proofed AT LEAST annually. Recently, we were worked on an AM DA whose management failed to properly maintain and document their antenna system and "POOF": Instant $15,000.00 N.A.L.! Now, they're paying for the antenna proof plus several times that amount in penalties! This is not really a good way to save money... Due to the nature of this work, prices must be quoted on an individual basis but, we usually beat out any competitive bids by a comfortable margin. Also, if you can help us sign up additional stations in your area, you'll each get a substantial "quantity discount"! (You can look at this as "Compliance Insurance" and the costs are deductible as a "business expense" while the fines and penalties - many times this amount - brought about by not having these services performed are not.)
